The 2025 Mattaponi Fall Camporee is a Range & Target event from 14-16 November at Izaak Walton, 12432 Herndon Rd, Spotsylvania.  The early registration price is $30 for Scouts and Scouters until 31 Oct 2025.  The price goes to $40 for Scouts and Scouters from 1 November until the event starts.  You may register online at the event.

The RATA Camporee will host 6 stations: rifle, shotgun, archery, sling shots, tomahawk & knife throwing, and Scout trivia.  Scouts are organized into patrols and compete as a group.  Individual scores are tallied to get a Patrol average for each station.  

There will be fantastic trophies for the winners, and bragging rights until next year!!

NOTE: If you have a firearm you want to bring to this activity, you MUST get the firearm cleared through our committee at least 10 days before the event.
