Cub Scout Leader Specific Training (CLST)

Four Mile Run District is offering Cub Scout Leader Specific Training (CLST) at the district Camporall!  Cub Scout leaders are considered to be fully trained and can wear the red-border TRAINED patch when they have completed CLST for their position and are current on Youth Protection/Safeguarding Youth Training (direct contact leaders must also be current on Hazardous Weather Training).  This course will cover all of the position-specifc material for den leaders, cubmasters, and committee members, in a seminar setting.  You will be trained for all positions in the pack and come away with a comprehensive understanding of the Cub program and all operations, with practical "how to" guidance and tips, and the knowledge and skills needed to achieve excellence.  The training session begins on Saturday at 11 am sharp in the dining hall and is expected to last three hours.  All leaders and any interested parents can attend.  Walk-ins are welcome but we can't guarantee we'll have enough course materials for you.  There is no fee.
