Wapiti District Scouts BSA Training - Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS)

Dates: Friday-Saturday, April 25 (5 p.m.)- May 26 (4 p.m., overnight)

Location: Camp Patiya

This hands-on course provides adult Scouts BSA leaders with the practical skills they need to lead Scouts in outdoor activities. Upon completion, leaders should feel comfortable teaching Scouts the basic outdoor skills required to obtain First Class rank. Scoutmaster Position-Specific training should be taken before this course, online at the BSA Learn Center (www.my.scouting.org). Both courses are required to be a "position-trained" SM or ASM.
