Cub Fun Days - Greeley - Hosted by Golden Plains District

Event Details

Let’s Go! Get ready for a blast at our Cub Fun Day! Imagine a day filled with fun games and wild outdoor adventures. Are you ready to test your skills with BB’s and Catapults at our inflatable shooting range? How about test your daring with snakes and bugs? No matter what, it’s going to be a day packed with fun, laughter, and lots of teamwork. We cannot wait to see you there!! Register today!

All the fun is coming your way:

When: Saturday, August 3, 9 am-2 pm (8:30 check-in, flag ceremony and intro starts at 9 am, pick up at 2pm)

Where: Island Grove Park Saddle Club (entrance at 616 N. 11th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80631)  - see attached map

Who: Scouts, friends, and siblings as long as they are going into grades K-5.

All new Lions (rising Kindergarten) and Tigers (rising 1st grade) aged kids should plan to attend with a parent/guardian for the full day.  For each kindergarten or 1st-grade youth, there must be a dedicated adult present for that youth for the entire day. Due to safety concerns, absolutely no youth under 5 years of age will be allowed to enter the Cub Fun Days area so parents please plan ahead for younger siblings!

All Wolves (rising 2nd grade) through AOLs (rising 5th grade) must have 1-4 adults total from the pack to volunteer for the day to help with the different stations and to be a walk-around leader with the groups going from station to station. We cannot do this amazing day without the support of parents, leaders, and volunteers!

Not attending with a pack or other scouts?  Bring your parent and have some fun with us!

Cost: $30, covers materials and snacks (fruit, popsicles, water, etc)

Need financial assistance?  We have a limited amount, please email goldenplains.activities@gmail.com.

Bring:

  • All participants, youth and adults, need to bring a completed medical health form A/B (see attached form)
  • Water bottle.
  • Sack lunch.
  • Close-toed shoes.
  • Dress for the weather - a scout is prepared!  (Think layers and a hat!)
