Welcome to Jamboree on The Air 2023, this year we will be assisted by both the Weld County Amateur Radio Association and the Colorado Army National Guard.

Scouts BSA ~ Troops can campout October 20-22

Cub Scouts ~ Cubs (with supervision) can come out on Saturday, October 21. 

Registered Cub Scout needs one adult that is required. 

NEW! Bring a friend or sibling (must be registered)!  Activities are geared for those 5 and up.  Other youth groups are invited also!

OPEN TO THE ENTIRE COUNCIL AND OTHER LOCAL YOUTH GROUPS

Location: Bigfoot Turf Farm located at 22455 Weld County Road 49 in Beautiful La Salle Colorado

Events: Various stations: talk to scouts around the world with ham radio, morse code, sky warn, and build your own device

Cost: $15 per youth (scout/non-scout ages 5 and up). No charge for adults.

All units are responsible for bringing their own meals. Packs: please bring a sack lunch, snack, and a water bottle.

We will be talking to Radio operators, and Scouts all over the country. 

This year we can camp on the property, the first night of camping is on Friday the 20th of October with arrival at 1800. We plan on having the opening flags start at 0900 on the 21st of October. Camping is not required but we will have a fee for registration. 

Cub Scouts are welcome to attend their registration cost will be $15.  The Scouts BSA fee will be $15 for camping. Both fees will include a kit to build and a patch.  If you bring a friend or sibling (5 and up), cost will be $15.  All must be registered.

There will be an emphasis on the requirements for the Radio Merit badge at this event. There will be an Army Chinook Helicopter on site and other Army resources available to look, climb, and interact with!

Come for the day, or come for the weekend, just be there and show your Scout spirit!
