2025 Frontier Merit Badge University

Scouts will be able to choose from several different merit badges.  Registration opens on April 1st and ends on April 23rd. 

Please plan accordingly to get your registrations entered on time.  The cost is $17.00, including lunch at the Laramie County Community College cafeteria.  Aviation MB charges an additional $5.00. The LCCC cafeteria provides gluten-free and dairy-free options.   

Check-In: 7:15 AM - 8:00 AM
Morning Session: 8:00 AM - 11:45 AM
Lunch: 12:00 PM - 12:40 PM
Afternoon Session: 11:55 AM - 4:40 PM
Closing Ceremony: 4:45 PM

MB worksheets with complete requirements are available for downloading and printing on the registration site.

Here are the prerequisites for specific classes.  Please complete them before attending MBU.

• Aviation, Additional cost of $5.00. Requirements  3 & 4 will need to be done independently. 
• Citizenship in the Community, Requirements 3 & 4. These two requirements are for the Scouts to find one current issue discussed within the past few months in their community and discuss their thoughts with their counselor.
• Citizenship in the Nation: Do requirements 5, 6, 7, and 8. This requires an activity of five consecutive days to be completed before MBU, so plan accordingly.
• Citizenship in the World: Do requirement 3
• Coin Collecting
• Engineering  Do requirements 2 and 6b before class.
• Scouting Heritage complete requirements 5 & 8 before class
• Sustainability - Scouts will need to provide their water and energy bills (gas, electric, photovoltaic), with an annual usage, and identify their home square footage. 
• Stamp Collecting
• Veterinary Medicine / Pets:  Pets; requirements 3 and 4 need to be completed independently before class.  Please plan for it.

Remember to bring your blue card signed by your scoutmaster for each merit badge you wish to attempt.

Use parking lot E.  Use the north entrance of the ARP building.   Follow the posted signs.
