The Adventure West Council would like to welcome you to Yellowstone High Adventure Outpost at Camp Buffalo Bill!

The Yellowstone High Adventure Outpost provides a premier High Adventure experience for independent crews and scouts at CBB who are ready for the adventure of a lifetime in the largest contiguous wilderness in the lower 48.

Camp Buffalo Bill is located 43 miles west of Cody, Wyoming on US Highway 14/16/20 and just eight (8) miles east of Yellowstone National Park along the banks of the Shoshone River. 

The incredible Wapiti Valley between the North Absaroka and Washakie Wilderness areas provides a setting where beauty and wildlife abound. This was the playground for William "Buffalo Bill" Cody and now it’s ours to share with you.

Week 0:  June 7-13, 2026 (No CBB Merit Badge)  Backpacking, Climbing, Whitewater
Week 1: June 14-20, 2026 (CBB Week 1) Backpacking, Climbing, Whitewater
Week 2: June 21-27, 2026 (CBB Week 2)  Backpacking, Climbing, Whitewater
Week 3: June 28- July 4, 2026 (No CBB) Backpacking, Climbing
Week 4: July 5-11, 2026 (CBB Week 4)  Backpacking, Climbing, Kayak
Week 5: July 12-18, 2026 (CBB Week 5) Climbing
 

To recieve early bird discount, full payment must be made by April 15th.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE: $750/person

$100 unit non-refundable deposit until Sept 30th.
Beginning Oct. 1, minimum $50/person non-refundable deposit at time of registration.
Feb 15th: Half balance of payment $375.00 ($50+$325) due. 
April 15th: Second half of balance $325 due.
April 16th: Early bird discount discount ends, regular fee assesed for any unpaid balances ($750 total per person)
