2026 National Jamboree - Youth Registration

Scouting Colorado is excited to announce the 2026 National Scout Jamboree, taking place from July 22 to 31, 2026, at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia. This premier Scouting event covers ten days of adventure, fellowship, and personal growth, featuring activities such as zip-lining, rock climbing, mountain biking, and whitewater rafting. Scouts will also enjoy engaging exhibits, leadership development opportunities, and the chance to connect with peers from across the nation.
Why Should I Attend Jamboree? Because ordinary doesn’t elevate anything.
This isn’t just a campout. It’s 10 days of full-throttle adventure, high-octane fun, and mile-high spirit—all packed into a low-altitude setting.
Where else can you summit a climbing wall at sunrise, rocket down whitewater rapids before lunch, swap patches with a Scout from Alaska after dinner—and fall asleep under West Virginia stars knowing you were part of something bigger than yourself?
The National Jamboree is where:
- You rise above comfort zones and discover what you’re truly made of.
- You lead with courage, serve with heart, and live Scouting at full elevation.
- You create memories that echo forever, with friendships forged at 5,280 and sealed in spirit.
Sure, the Summit sits at a “breathtaking” 1,500 feet—we call that a Tuesday morning hike. But that’s okay—we’ll bring the altitude, the attitude, and the real elevation.
Nobody elevates like Colorado.
So, if you’ve ever wondered what Scouting looks like when the stakes are higher, the views are wider, and the adventure never backs down—this is it.
Registration is structured in 20-participant contingent blocks consisting of 18 youth and 2 adult leaders, aligned with the National Jamboree registration system. Once the initial allocation of blocks is filled, a waitlist will be established; additional registrations will be released in full 20-person increments as complete blocks can be formed. We are very close to filling the initial block allocation.
We strongly encourage families to join the waitlist as soon as the initial blocks are full. Based on past experience and anticipated growth, we fully expect to clear the waitlist and open additional 20-participant blocks. Early registration ensures your Scout is positioned in the next confirmed contingent group as soon as the next block is activated.
