This registration is for CONFIRMED STAFF ONLY!  If you have been selected as a staff member please proceed with the registration process.  If you are interested in staffing NYLT, please reach out to the Council Coordinator (nyltcolorado@gmail.com).  

Registering to be a staff member for  NYLT confirms that you have agreed to attend all Staff Development Meetings, complete your paperwork by the April 15th deadline, AND that you will be committed to being at NYLT for the entire session  If you have changed your mind and no longer wish to commit to the entire staff development process through the end of course, please reach out to your Senior Patrol Leader (SPL) and Scoutmaster (SM) immediately..

Thank you for agreeing to be part of the 2026 National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) Staff. The youth and adults serving as NYLT staff members model appropriate leadership skills in everything they do, creatin a rich learning environment for the Scouts they serve and for themselves. Servant Leadership is an important NYLT leadership attitude, and it is critical that the staff model focus on course participants and not on themselves. Remember: Great Leaders seek to serve others.

REQUIRED FORMS AND DEADLINES FOR 2026

After you complete your registration you will receive access to the WorkBright and CampDoc systems to complete additional paperwork and forms. These documents are required by the State of Colorado and MUST be completed before April 15, 2026. These forms (and trainings) are very time-consuming. DO NOT WAIT to do these until the last minute.  There are over 8 hours of trainings required to finish these forms.  The ONLY exception to completing documents by April 15th is on CampDoc (Health Forms) Part C. Failure to complete all forms will mean that you will NOT be allowerd to participate as a staff member and will not be refunded any fees.  All links will be sent after January 15, 2026 with CampDoc being sent in Mid-March.

Fingerprinting - ALL (YOUTH AND ADULT) STAFF is required by the State of Colorado to be fingerprinted.  Fingerprinting is good for up to 5 years. You will get an email with instructions if you are required to get fingerprinted for the 2026 NYLT year. If you are requested to do fingerprinting you MUST complete fingerprinting by May 15, 2026.

Cost for NYLT 2026

Cost for New staff members is $235 and will include 1 Staff Polo, 1 Staff Nametag, 1 Staff Hat, and your Staff Patches. Returning staff are allowed to purchase this package as well. This fee also covers the NYLT program for 2026.

Returning staff members cost will be $200 to cover the cost of the NYLT program for 2026.

Staff Store will open in January and run through April. All items purchased through the Staff Store will be available for pick-up at Camp.
