This CPR/AED course will teach you the skills necessary to help someone who has collapsed and is likely experiencing a sudden cardiac arrest.  Skills practiced include chest compressions, rescue breaths and use of an AED. This course also teaches you how to help someone who is choking. Participants will receive a digital ECSI completion card, with suggested renewal every two years. (see below ***) 

The instructor, Laura Zaruba, is a Wilderness First Responder, BLS instructor for American Heart Association. This CPR/AED course will also include wilderness specific considerations for CPR/AED. 

Prerequisites:  Must be 14 years of age.
