Join us for our annual Membership Summit. Developed here at Scouting Colorado to bring together all people involved in membership and recruitment — from commissioners and district staff to unit leadership.  The purpose of this event is to have a more in-depth conversation about the ‘why’ of recruiting, so everyone understands the social science behind our recruiting efforts as well as the numerous tools available to help every unit and every district increase membership in 2025.  This is not just another training; it will be much more and is focused to help each district and each unit to tailor their recruiting and retention efforts to maximize growth while networking with others who have the same goals and gaining tools to be successful in your recruitment plans. Here are some potential topics for the Membership Summit:

• Scoutbook Overview 
• How to connect with your school
• Scouts BSA Dynamic Recruitment 
• Using Zip Codes to create New Units

• Community Integration - How to be more present in your community

Where: Scout Heaquarters - 10455 W. 6th Ave, Lakewood, CO 80215

When: May 3rd from 9 am to 1 pm

Who: All people involved in recruitment including Commissioners, District Staff, Cub Scout Leaders, Scouts BSA Leaders, Venturing/Sea Scout Leaders, etc.

Why: To meet other volunteers and learn about membership recruitment and the role you play. Snacks and lunch will be provided. Bring your ideas along to share!

Bring your youth! Youth 6 and older are invited to come along and enjoy the climbing wall and archery while you enjoy the training! Make sure to sign them up while registering.
