2026 Fall Wood Badge Course

Take the next step in your Scouting journey by joining us for the Fall 2026 Wood Badge Course at McNeil Scout Ranch. Spread across two engaging weekends, the course combines immersive learning with practical leadership experiences that you can immediately bring back to your pack, troop, crew, district, or council role. Pre-course assignments must be completed before the first weekend to ensure you get the most from the experience.
 

Wood Badge is recognized as the highest-level leadership training in Scouting. It provides leaders with proven tools to strengthen communication, build effective teams, and inspire a shared vision. While not an outdoor skills course, Wood Badge builds on the best of Scouting’s traditions, bringing together time-tested leadership principles in a way that is active, challenging, and impactful.
 

Conceived by Lord Baden-Powell and continually refined for today’s Scouting movement, Wood Badge helps leaders at every level grow their confidence, sharpen their leadership style, and strengthen their ability to guide both youth and adults.
 

The course is delivered in two parts, and attendance at both weekends is required to complete the program.
