Join us on Friday, July 31st for an outdoor climbing experience!

Experienced volunteers and staff will guide a group of Scouts to climb in the outdoors at Narrow Gauge Slabs in Pine Valley Ranch Park. Scouts will meet at Colorado Adventure Point at 8:30am and will drive together in a provided vehicle. After arriving to the location, the Climbing Area is a little under a mile hike from the parking lot. 

Participants must be 14 years of age or older and be a current member of Scouts BSA, Venturing, or Crew program. 

Scouts will need:

• Filled out and completed Health A&B form to be turned in prior to the trip.
• Personal backpack with Scout Essentials and room to carry a harness and helmet.
  • Lunch, water, and snacks
  • Sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses) 
  • Waterbottle

***Participants are allowed to bring their personal climbing gear – harnesses, shoes,
helmets, etc. Please note this is optional and gear cannot be used without passing inspection from our staff. ***

Colorado Adventure Point will provide the following:

• Transportation to and from Colorado Adventure Point
• Medical/First Aid Kits
• Climbing Gear – harnesses, shoes, helmets, ropes, belay devices, etc.
• Permit

Please note: we will not be covering the climbing merit badge during this trip, this is purely and outdoor guided experience.
