Fall 2027 Wood Badge Course Registration

Join us for the Fall 2027 Wood Badge Course and discover why generations of Scouters describe Wood Badge as one of the most rewarding experiences of their Scouting journey. Under the leadership of Course Director Gene O’Neill, this course offers an engaging blend of leadership development, teamwork, and personal growth in a supportive Scouting environment.

The course will be conducted in a two-weekend format:

Weekend 1: August 27–29, 2027

Weekend 2: September 11–12, 2027

Wood Badge is designed to help adult leaders strengthen communication skills, develop effective teams, and lead with purpose and confidence. The course uses the patrol method and experiential learning to create an atmosphere where participants actively practice leadership concepts rather than simply hearing about them.

Built on the vision of Lord Baden-Powell and refined over decades, Wood Badge continues to provide relevant leadership training for today’s Scouting volunteers. Whether you serve in a pack, troop, crew, district, or council role, the lessons learned during Wood Badge can immediately enhance your leadership effectiveness both inside and outside of Scouting.

Participants should complete all required pre-course assignments before the first weekend begins. Attendance at both weekends is required for successful course completion.

Early bird registration is available for $350.00 through July 13, 2027. Registrations made after that date will increase to the standard course fee of $375.00.
