Spring 2027 Wood Badge Course Registration

Take your leadership skills to the next level by joining us for the Spring 2027 Wood Badge Course at McNeil Scout Ranch. Guided by Course Director Luis Alvarez and Senior Patrol Leader Enrique Ramirez, this two-weekend course delivers an engaging and meaningful leadership experience designed to strengthen your impact in Scouting and beyond.

The course will be held over two weekends:

Weekend 1: April 2–4, 2027

Weekend 2: April 17–18, 2027

Wood Badge is Scouting’s premier leadership development program for adults. Through hands-on activities, team development, communication exercises, and practical leadership challenges, participants gain tools they can immediately apply within their units, districts, councils, workplaces, and communities. The course focuses on leadership growth rather than outdoor skills, creating an environment that is collaborative, inspiring, and highly interactive.

Originally developed by Lord Baden-Powell and continually updated for today’s leaders, Wood Badge blends Scouting traditions with modern leadership principles that help participants build stronger teams, communicate effectively, and lead with greater confidence and vision.

Participants are expected to complete pre-course assignments before arriving for the first weekend, and attendance at both weekends is required to complete the course.

Early bird registration is available for $350.00 through February 16, 2027. Registrations submitted after that date will be charged the standard course fee of $375.00.
