Black Feather District Award Nominations

Please use this form to nomiate your fellow district volunteers for some well deserved awards. Below is the description of the award and cost.

• The Outstanding Scouter Award is an honor given to those Scouters and Committee Members that have performed outstanding service to their home units during the past year.  A nominee must have rendered noteworthy service to youth in their home unit or the district during the past calendar year.  The Outstanding Scouter recipient is awarded a certificate and an engraved name tag.   Price - $16

• The Footsteps of the Founder Award is an honor presented to Scouters that have contributed to the success of a unit or units for an extended period of time.  The nominee through their scouting career has occupied various leadership roles within your unit or a high impact role for an extended period of time. A recipient of this award will receive a certificate and a hiking boot lapel pin.  Price - $8

• The Spirit of Polaris Award is an honor presented to Scouters that have contributed to the success of their home unit and have branched out to supporting District Activities.  A nominee must have rendered noteworthy service to youth in their home units and must also be involved in District Activities such as the Roundtable, Pinewood Derby, Klonderee, Camporee, Cub Scout Day Camp, or the District Committee.   A recipient is awarded a certificate and a uniform patch - there is no cost for this award.
