Membership Summit 2026

Join us for our annual Membership Summit, developed here at Scouting Colorado to bring together everyone involved in membership, from commissioners and district staff to unit leadership and parents interested in learning more about district and council. This event will focus on practical strategies to grow Scouting, including membership growth, starting new units, strengthening school partnerships, and expanding community recruitment efforts.
We will also focus on retention, ensuring that new families who join Scouting stay engaged through strong programs, supported leaders, and positive experiences. Participants will leave with ideas and tools to strengthen both recruiting and retention while connecting with others working toward the same goals.

Where: Colorado Adventure Point - 10455 W. 6th Ave, Lakewood, CO 80215
When: May 9th from 9 am to 1 pm
Who: All people involved in recruitment including Commissioners, District Staff, Cub Scout Leaders, Scouts BSA Leaders, Venturing/Sea Scout Leaders, etc.
Why: To meet other volunteers and learn about membership recruitment and the role you play. Snacks and lunch will be provided. Bring your ideas along to share!
