Den Chief Training

An interactive training experience that meets all requirements for the Den Chief “Trained” strip. All Scouts have the opportunity to teach/lead songs, games, and skits in front of a group and work with an adult Den Leader to plan and conduct a den meeting. During the den meeting, the Scouts plan and practice their participation in a pack meeting. During the pack meeting, the Scouts learn how to give and receive an award. Since clean up after meetings is part of a Den Chief's duties, event clean up is a structured part of the workshop. Fresh fruit and water will be provided.
