Tahosa Lodge OA - Induction Weekend Registration

Event Details

Welcome to the Tahosa Lodge, Order of the Arrow. The Scouting’s National Honor Society Lodge operating for the Greater Colorado Council and Scouting Colorado.

Lodge Induction Weekends encompass four individual ways to participate and register for the weekend:

Elected Candidates - The cost of the Induction Weekend for Ordeal Candidates is $65. This cost includes four meals (Sat. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Sun. Breakfast) as well as the cost for 2026 Lodge Dues, camping fee, and insurance.  It also covers new member materials, including an OA Sash, Ordeal Certificate, OA Handbook, Pocket Dangle, and Lodge Flap.

Arrival and check-in at camp for Ordeal Candidates will begin at 5:30 PM. See the linked packing list for what you need to bring below.

The Ordeal experience is different for each person who completes it. The purpose of the Ordeal is to have candidates reflect on their own Scout life and character and to come to a deeper understanding of the Scout Oath and the principles of the Order. The Ordeal is your choice to complete.

Brotherhood Candidates - Arrowmen completing their journey to Brotherhood will pay $55, which pays for four (4) meals, camping fees, and insurance. It also covers the cost for a Brotherhood Sash and Brotherhood Certificate. Brotherhood candidates who plan on staffing the event in any role should register as a Brotherhood Candidate, not as an OA Member nor Approved Elangomats & Ceremonialists.

Those members completing their Brotherhood this weekend will arrive at 5:30 PM. Upon check-in, they should set up their tent and head to the dining hall. Brotherhood candidates can sign up for a job, should they wish to do so, in addition to the weekend.

The Brotherhood Chair, Sean Gardner, will reach out to you to ensure you are prepared for the weekend and to be successful in your completion of the Brotherhood requirements.

OA Members & Staff will pay $35, which pays for four (4) meals, camping fees, and insurance.

OA Members and Staffers should arrive at 5:00 PM, or earlier, as communicated by their direct leadership. We invite and encourage ALL Arrowmen to attend! If you have an idea of what you want to do to support the weekend, please sign up for it! The staff signup can be accessed at the bottom of the Induction Weekend Page. However, if you don’t have a role in mind, just come out and Scout! We do have a program for you! We are excited to hang out with you, and you can pitch in wherever necessary. We cannot wait to see you!

Approved Elangomats and Ceremonialists will pay $20, we appreciate your hard work! (Please talk to your committee leadership if this applies to you. Do not use the Approved Elangomats and Ceremonialists registration option without prior approval from the Vice Chief of Inductions, Saige Albrecht.

Elangomats & Ceremonialists should arrive at camp at their designated time, set up their tent as quickly as possible, and meet at HQ for directions from their chairperson, Jacob Wingate, for Elangomats and Simone James for Ceremonies.

All event attendees must be in the Dining Hall by 7:00 PM on Friday, with applicable gear.

It is mandatory by the State of Colorado that every Scout have a medical form packet on file once at camp. Scouting America does this through the Annual Health and Medical Records (AMHR) form. Please ensure you print and bring a completed copy of parts A and B, with a copy of your insurance card. Camp does not have access to a printer, so you must print it beforehand. These forms will be kept on file for the entirety of 2026, usable for any Tahosa Lodge OA event.

Check-out will begin at 11:00 AM on Sunday at the Dining Hall. Please park in the Dining Hall lot and head into Gilwell Hall. The trading post will be open at this time!
