Scouting Chronicles: The First Chapter @ MSR is your chance to live a new story every month, filled with epic activities, friendly competitions, and memories that will last a lifetime. One month you might be flying down the zip line, hitting bull’s-eyes at the range, and racing around the mountain bike course; the next, conquering the lake obstacle course and scaling the wall at the pool.

Each chapter is unique, so no two months are ever the same. Bring your Troop, Crew, or Ship and get ready for a day packed with fun, challenge, and Scouting spirit at McNeil Scout Ranch @ Peaceful Valley.

The First Chapter Begins March 28, 2026 at 9 AM — featuring ZipLine, RATA (Range & Target Activities), Mountain Bikes, and more. Join Scouts from across Colorado for the start of something legendary!

Onsite check-in begins at 8:30 AM. 

Bring your own Lunch/Snacks - No Food will be provided

Units can arrange off-season camping at Chris Dobbins or Cortland Dietler and let Scouting Chronicles @ MSR handle your Saturday adventure. Because every great Scouting story deserves an unforgettable first chapter.
