Ranch Hands Service Day will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, beginning at 8 AM and ending with dinner at 6 PM. Ranch Hands Service Day allows youth and adults to spend the day helping the council prepare McNeil Scout Ranch for the summer camping season.

McNeil Scout Ranch will provide all participants with Lunch and Dinner on Saturday.

Adults are free to sign up for the weekend without restrictions.

Youth may participate in the program as part of a Troop, Crew, or Ship when that unit chooses to participate and registers for the weekend.

Units need to ensure that all youth protection and Scouting America policies are being complied with.

Troops, Crews, or Ships are welcome to camp overnight at McNeil Scout Ranch and are registering as unit camping. Please choose the campsite RANCH HANDS WEEKEND. Other campsite choices will not be honored.

Overnight camping is not permitted by individuals and families.
