Thank you for registering for your interest in the Exploration Merit Badge! 

Discover the history and importance of various kinds of exploration by earning the Exploration Merit Badge. Scouts will study real-life explorers who made their mark either in the wild or in a scientific lab, then plan, prepare and go on a walking expedition to a park nearby.

 Please note the following: 

• Lunch is not included. Scout must bring a sack lunch and a beverage. 
• Scout uniform is not required, but please ensure Scouts are prepared for the weather and to be outside.
• Please bring paper, pencil, and backpack with essentials.
• Please bring a signedBSA Health Format check in.
   

 Scouts will receive paper blue cards at the end of the day, all requirements completed during class will be marked off. Any requirements not covered will be considered homework. Homework can be turned in toCAPHomework@gmail.comwhen completed. It is a Scout’s responsibility after class to turn this blue card into their Troop leadership to get recorded/awarded.
