Thank you for your interest in the Cooking Merit Badge Class! 

Scouts will learn from experienced cooking instructors a vital skill of adulthood; feeding themselves. Using our training kitchen and the patrol method, Scouts will not only learn how to plan meals for camping trips, but how to plan and execute meals for themselves, and their families. 

Please note the following: 

• This is NOT an overnight event, it's held during the day over 2 days. 
• Lunch is included but it is advised that Scout’s bring additional snacks in case they don’t like the planned meals.
• Scout uniform is not required.
• Please bring paper and pencil. 
• Please bring a signedBSA Health Format check in 
• Scout must attend both days to receive credit. 

 
Scouts will receive paper blue cards at the end of the day, all requirements completed during class will be marked off. Any requirements not covered will be considered homework. Homework can be turned in toCAPHomework@gmail.comwhen completed. It is a Scout’s responsibility after class to turn this blue card into their Troop leadership to get recorded/awarded.
