South Daycamp at Oso Lake - 2021
UPDATE! Non scouts can now be Campers! If you have wondered about the neat things that scouts get to do, now you can attend Cub Scout Daycamp and see for yourself.
The South Daycamp is located at the Oso Lake and will run from June 21 to June 23. There are two sessions of camp, the AM session runs 8:00 am to 1:30 pm, the PM session runs 2:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Registration is open until June 6, 2021. See all of the important dates for camp.
Day Camp is staffed entirely by parents and volunteers. We need you to be a part of the FUN! Adult volunteers guide campers through the day and assist at activity stations. The camp staff will provide training before camp so you know what you need to do at camp. To follow our safety protocols adults need to volunteer for all three days. Adult volunteers get a free T shirt. Adults are always welcome to join the Day Camp Staff, contact the Camp Director for more information. Day Camp is a wonderful time filled with fun, games, laughter, and adventure. Help the Day Camp put on the best time of our Scout's summers by volunteering. There are adult volunteer training sessions on June 9 and 12.
The Day Camp safety plan is organized around dens or cohorts. Each den stays together during camp and does not have contact with other dens. The den is made up of campers of similar age and rank, adults, and youth volunteers. Equipment and supplies are cleaned between dens. Daily camp check in includes a health questionnaire and a temperature check. Face coverings are required.
Tot Lot Kids are potty trained 3-years-old through Kindergarten age and must have a parent volunteering at camp in order to attend.
Youth Volunteers are Scouts BSA aged boys and girls who help run the camp. Youth volunteers get a free T shirt. Youth Volunteers must attend one of the madatory training sessions on June 9 or 12.
