Build exciting projects like electric motors, a microphone, simple circuits connecting to bulbs and buzzers and more! Learn about electrical concepts, safety and terminology. Homework includes making a home wiring diagram and an energy conservation plan. Demos include: wiring an electric door bell, building a Leyden Jar and an electroscope. Before class starts, learn basic vocabulary in advance like volt resistance, conductor (all listed in Req. 10).

These sessions run Mon - Fri from 3:00pm to 5:00pm during Newport Sea Base Summer Camp.
