Learn the terms, proper techniques, skills, and compositions for taking photographs. Take pictures of sights around the Bay as you travel by pontoon boat. Use your best shots to create a photo journalistic story that you can either mount on poster board or use to create a slide show. Try your hand out our classic film camera and sample a DSLR camera as well. Practice enhancing your photos with Photoshop or similar software. Please bring in your own camera for regular use - smart phone cameras are acceptable but digital SLR cameras or pocket cameras with a viewfinder are recommended if accessible (not a necessary purchase).

These sessions run Mon - Fri from 10:30am to 12:30pm during Newport Sea Base Summer Camp.
