First Aid Merit Badge AM (Ages 11 to 17)
From anaphylaxis, sprains, burns to heat strokes and deep lacerations, participants will learn and practice the proper First Aid procedures for a wide variety of scenarios. Get hands on learning how and when to perform First Aid and CPR, as well as how to keep yourself and others safe in a multitude of environments. Electronic and sensored CPR mannequins offer a top-notch learning experience. Practice using training-grade epipens.
Each participant will receive their own CPR training valve to practice breaths during the designated CPR sessions. Learn to assemble a complete first aid kit and be versed in inspecting the quality of items and packaging. Class is loaded with fun scenarios and team challenges. Learn to be prepared for accidents and how to save a life! Complete all requirements to receive this Eagle required merit badge.
This session runs from 9am to 12pm on Saturday, October 19th, 26th, and November 2nd.
