Drive a variety of motor boats while learning the boaters' "rules of the road." Practice safely fueling your boat, driving in a straight line, making right-angle turns and U-turns, anchoring, docking and more! There will be 3-4 students max per boat, with an instructor on each motor boat with the participants to provide careful supervision. Practice safety drills, man over board simulations, and more! Tour the harbor in search of sea lions and wildlife! *Scouts will receive earn their Motorboating Merit Badge upon completion of all requirements.

These sessions run Mon - Fri from 10:30am to 12:30pm during Newport Sea Base Summer Camp.

Week 3: 6/26-6/30
