Welcome to IOLS and BALOO

Saddleback's District combined training for Introduction Outdoor Leader Skills for Scouting (IOLS) and Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) for Cubs. 

Who - Adult leaders who need training for their respective Units.

          IOLS is mandatory for all Assistant Scoutmasters and Scoutmasters.

          BALOO is required for Cubs and one trained adult must accompany a Pack on a camping trip.

What - Basic skills and knowledge for both Scout leaders and Cubs to plan and execute a fun and more importantly safe camping event.

Why - Build your confidence, support the ideals of Scouting, and help support you Pack/Troop Leadership.
