Friends of Royaneh Registration

Building on the success of the celebrations surrounding Camp Royaneh’s 100th Anniversary, we are pleased to announce the launch of the Friends of Royaneh (FOR). FOR is open to all ages and is a relaunch of the organization formally known as the Royaneh Alumni Association. The new name was chosen to better represent Scouters and non-Scouters, former, current and future staff members, current and future campers and anyone else who shares a common bond with Camp Royaneh.

FOR Goals

• Connect people who have spent time at Camp Royaneh with others who share a special bond and interest
• Keep members up to date on Royaneh related news and events
• Promote camp needs and work parties
• Assist where possible with fundraising for Royaneh
• Host a BBQ each summer at Royaneh (Currently targeted for July 18th)
• Continue to build the database of Scouters, former and current staff members and friends of Royaneh

Membership Options  

• Baden Powell (Ages 15 & under): $15 per year
• Annual (Ages 16 & over): $19.25 per year
• Diamond R: $500 one-time fee*
• Diamond R Senior (Ages 65 & over): $375 one-time fee*
• Thunderbird Circle: $1,925 one-time fee*

Member Benefits

Baden Powell (Ages 15 & under): Non-voting member. Receives FOR patch, invitations to special FOR events, and ability to purchase special FOR branded merchandise when available.

Annual (Ages 16 & over): Voting member with the same benefits as Baden Powell members.

Diamond R & Diamond R Senior: Lifetime membership with the same benefits as Annual members as well as a special Lifetime member branded recognition item. 

Thunderbird Circle: All Lifetime membership benefits plus recognition on the camp giving tree (or similar named recognition) and a special Thunderbird Legacy branded item.

All membership levels will receive information on elections including those for the Board of Directors and invites to Friend of Royaneh sponsored events at Camp and beyond.  

*The portion of the membership fee above the cost of discounts and giveaways is tax deductible. The tax deductible amount is estimated at $475 for Diamond R membership, $355 for Diamond R Senior membership and $1,800 for Thunderbird Circle membership. In January following the year you join, you will receive a contribution statement from the council for use in filing your taxes.
