Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills – 2026 (Aka Acorn Training). 

March 14th and April 4-5th (3 day course)

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills Training (S11) is being offered to all Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, Committee Members, Arrow of Light Den Leaders, Commissioners and all registered Scouters. You will immerse yourself in the journey of Trail to First Class and in your patrol with Scouters from all over the Council, you will learn skills and complete challenges together. This training will help you provide the best possible quality program for your youth! You must be 18 years or older and registered with BSA to participate. This is a 3 day course.  Day 1 is in the classroom.  Day 2 & 3 are held outdoors with 1 night of camping (you will need to provide your own tent and sleeping bag).  Mandatory attendance for all 3 days to complete course.  Class A shirts will be required for certain parts of the course. Med forms A & B are required for the course.

Introduction to the Outdoor Leader Skills – Day 2 & 3 of 3 days

DATE:   April 4-5th, 2026. (Sat/Sun)

TIME:    7:00 am Saturday to 2:00 pm Sunday

LOCATION: Ranchos Los Mochos, 18450 Mines Rd, Livermore, CA 94550

CAMP INFO: RANCHO LOS MOCHOS INFO            

COST:    $45.00 for Early Bird discount (Covers all 3 days) $50 for standard registration

All 3 days must be completed in person to receive credit for the course.
