2026 Sky Islands District and Catalina Council Pinewood Derby

Please join us for the 2026 Sky Island District and Catalina Council Pinewood Derby.

Sky Island: Accepting the top three racers from each den of the Sky Island Packs.

Catalina Council: Accepting the top three racers from Sky Island and Cochise Districts Races.

-- Sky Islands District : Serves the western portion of Pima County and the southern portion of Pinal County.

-- Cochise District: Serves the eastern portions of Pima and Santa Cruz Counties and all of Cochise County.

Please pay close attention to the schedule; Leaders please register your top three racers including car-name to help streamline the check in process.  Early Check-in can be arranged.

The race will take place on Saturday February 28th, 2026 at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 8051 E. Broadway Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85710

Each Race Session will start with Sky-Island races, and continue immediately into Catalina Council Races. (Sky-Island + Cochise Districts)

Tentative Schedule:

08:00 AM: Lion Check In

08:30-10:00 AM: Lion Races

09:30 AM: Tiger Check In

10:00-11:30 AM: Tiger Race

11:00 AM: Wolf Check In

11:30-01:00 PM: Wolf Race

1:00 PM  Bear Check In

1:30-3:00 PM: Bear Race

2:30 PM: Webelo Check In

3:00-4:30 PM: Webelo Race

4:00 PM:  AOL Check In

4:30-06:00 PM: Catalina Council AOL Race
