Lifesaving Merit Badge Event

Minimum of 10 Scouts registered before August 12 to ensure MBE occurs - Max 20.

What Scouts should bring:

Proof of Swimming MB. Bring Scout Master approved bluecard, worksheets, pencil and pen and extra set of clothing and shoes that can get wet. Current CPR certification if you already have. Lunch or snacks and water bottle. Proper swimming attire.  BSA AB Medical form. Sunscreen.

Print out a Lifesaving Merit Badge Worksheet (at http://www.usscouts.org/mb/worksheets/lifesaving.pdf) and fill out as much as possible before attending.

Prerequisites:

Complete Swimming MB and be at Swimmer level on swim check, Strong swimming skills are required.  This is physically demanding MB.  Watch a video on canoe or kayak rescue before arriving.
