Spring Induction Weekend - Camp Geronimo

Ordeal Candidates, the journey that started with the selection by your unit continues with a weekend of fun, fellowship, and personal growth. We’re excited to see you at the Spring Induction Weekend!

Brotherhood Candidates, this weekend is truly a memorable weekend as you continue your OA journey.  Your Brotherhood Ceremony will be held on Saturday. Please be sure to complete the Brotherhood Candidate Letter (see attachments) and bring it with you to camp.

OA Members, the induction weekend wouldn’t be the same without you.  We hope you will consider helping as an Elangomat (crew guide) or on the Service Team. In addition, Ordeal members will be able to continue in their membership journey by completing Brotherhood.  

Friday Night Check-In for all Attendees @ 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm
Please eat dinner before you arrive, there are no meals planned for Friday night.

• Wear your full Field Uniform (aka Class A) for registration check-in.  Members please wear your OA Sash.
• Please go to the dining hall for registration check-in.  (One line is for Ordeal Candidates and the other for Members)
• Check-in with your paper copy of your Medical Forms A, B1, B2 and a copy of your insurance card.  We cannot accept a digital format on your phone or electronic device.Your medical form will be given to the Health Officer and you must pick-up at the end of the event.
• Check-in with the Health Officer with your Prescriptions and OTC (if applicable).
• Ordeal Candidates,
  • You will be assigned to a crew and receive a wristband designating your crew number.
  • In the dining hall, you will meet up with your fellow crew mates
  • In the dining hall, keep with you your Friday night gear/backpack.
  • See Candidate Instructions & Packing List for more details in the attachments.
• For the weekend, cars must be parked in the parking lot and not at campsites.

OA Ordeal Candidates
There are several registration types. Please select OA Ordeal Candidate and complete your registration form. The other registration types are for members (you’ll be one soon enough)

There are several attachments to the right. Please review these with special attention to the Ordeal Candidate Instructions & Packing List, which provides specific details on what to bring and how to pack.  

Parents, we’ve a letter for you there as well - please review it, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Ordeal Candidate Fees
Regular Registration Fee $50 - Ends Friday, April 10, 2026 @ 11:59 p.m.
Late Registration Fee $65 - Starts Saturday, April 11, 2026 @ 12:00 a.m.
Registration Closes Sunday, Friday, April 17, 2026 @ 11:59 p.m.

OA Members
You have more options during registration. Please let us know how you will be participating during the weekend.  You also have an opportunity to register as a Brotherhood Candidate, after six months of service as an Ordeal member.

OA Ididerall
Don’t forget to register - you’ve already paid for this event with your Ididerall purchase, but we still need to confirm your attendance for logistics.  In the registration form, please let us know how you will be participating during the weekend.  You will also have an opportunity to register as a Brotherhood Candidate, after six months of service as an Ordeal member.

Sunday Morning Exodus @ 11:00 am
After breakfast, upon completion of our Induction Weekend, we will police the property and ensure Camp Geronimo is left better than we found it before leaving the property.

OA Lodge Calendar for your Google Calendar

• Open Google Calendar.

• Open Outlook Calendar.
• Click on your existing calendar, then click the green 'plus sign' at the top of the screen (just above "Open Calendar"), then choose "from internet".
