The New OA Induction Experience…

The driving principle of the Order of the Arrow is simple: To be why Scouts want to stay in Scouting. To align with that vision, The Order has redesigned the induction experience to create a welcoming environment for new members by building connections throughout the induction, leaving new members energized to participate in future lodge events.

Existing Woa Members Can Experience It First!

Existing Woa Cholena members will have the opportunity to experience the new induction ceremonies in September 2026 before we offer it to our new members in October 2026, ensuring that all of our members understand the new induction firsthand.

Who should come to this event?

All Woa Cholena members should plan to re-dedicate themselves to the Order by participating in this this new induction experience.  

Lapsed members are invited to use this induction experience to re-engage with the Lodge.

Any current Woa Cholena members who complete the new induction experience during 2026 will receive a rare and collectible Woa Cholena lodge flap and pocket patch commemorating this historic ceremonial transition.

What/When/Where?

This event will take place at beautiful Camp Maubila. Check-in will be held in the Dining Hall from 6 -8 PM on Friday. Dismissal is planned for 10AM Sunday morning. Registrants will receive an email with what to bring as reminder 3 days before the event.
