The purpose of this course is to make you a "Trained" COR entitled to wear the "Trained" Badge on your uniform. The deeper purpose is to stress your membership in the District and Council Committees and to briefly review your duties to your sponsoring institution. As a COR, you have important responsibilities to Scouting, Indian Waters Council, your District and your Sponsoring institution. More importantly, this is a wonderful opportunity to meet your fellow CORs and perhaps, to get an answer to some question or problems from other CORs.
