Event Details

Come and join Sakima District and the Kikthawenund OA chapter for The Tribal Challenge.

The Tribal Challenge is a weekend packed with skills that the Native Americans would have used in daily life, and some few surprises that you will find out when you arrive.

Spring Camporee this year will be held at Camp Foellinger, in Pleasant Lake, Indiana.

The events that you will be participating in include the following: fire building, knots, plant identification, a team building activity, and a surprise patrol and troop activity to wrap up the day! We ask that the patrols participating in the weekend have no more than (8) members, and preferably no less than 6 members, but we understand if there are fewer.

During the day on Saturday, any scout or scouter attending the camporee is asked to please wear your OA sash, seeing as the weekend is being run by the OA. Saturday night there will be a campfire and an Order of the Arrow call-out ceremony. Each patrol is expected to come to the campfire program with a prepared skit or song.

Lastly, from everyone in the Kikthawenund OA chapter, we hope that you all will have an amazing weekend, and we will see you there.
