Denali High Adventure Scout Base is Alaska's newest camp that offers a rustic Scouting experience.  Denali is located in the shadow of Mt. Mckinley, North America's tallest peak.  We offer Backpacking, River, and cycling adventures in addition to traditional summer camp programs. 

Denali High Adventure Scout Base is at the cutting edge of BSA programing... literally.  The National Council of the Boy Scouts of America is exploring pistols as a program element for Boy Scout aged youth (11-17).  In the past pistols had only been approved for youth registered as Venturing Scouts (14-20). Great Alaska Council has been approved as a pilot council for this program and will be offering pistol instruction and shooting as a part of the program at Denali. 

In addition to that we will be offering a first year camper program, cooking in campsites, and Merit Badges that you won't be able to find at our other camps like Metalworking (blacksmith) and Welding.
