Scout Sunday is traditionally observed on the Sunday before Scouting Anniversary Day (February 8), but units and their chartered organizations may choose any Sunday in February that works best for them.

Scouting America encourages churches to celebrate Scout Sunday on the date most convenient for their pastor and congregation. Scouts are often invited to attend worship services in full uniform, participate in the service, and be recognized for their contributions. Be sure to coordinate with your chartered organization representative or faith leader when planning your Scout Sunday observance.
