Date: Saturday, February 28, 2026 Time: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm (Formal program at 11:00 am) Location: 693 Rancocas Rd., Westampton, NJ 08060 (Conveniently located off I-295, Exit 45A or NJTP Exit 5)

Event Details: We invite you to stop by during this open-house celebration to enjoy guided tours of the museum and  explore our collection. A brief formal program will begin at 11:00 a.m., featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a Scout Troop opening, and  remarks from Council leadership. Registration: To ensure we have enough special edition patches and tokens of appreciation for our guests, pre-registration is essential. 

The Mission of the Garden State Scout Museum is to preserve, celebrate, and share the rich history of Scouting America. By connecting youth members, adult volunteers, alumni, donors and the community as a whole with local and national history, the GSS Museum will actively aid Garden State Council in delivering its mission.

The Vision of the GSS Museum is to develop and share thoughtful exhibits and authentic storytelling, to honor the legacy of Scouting, highlight its impact on communities, and inspire future generations to embrace the values of leadership, service, and adventure. We will bring the Scouting journey to life-ensuring its lessons, spirit, and traditions continue to shape tomorrow's leaders, because To Show History is to Tell a Story.

Our museum is always seeking donations of Scouting-related items to refresh our current exhibits and support our new traveling display. We are also looking for dedicated volunteers to assist with essential museum duties.
