Roundtable is a monthly meeting for unit leaders (Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Venturing, and Varsity Scouting) to receive updates, training, and inspiration. It's a forum for parents and adult volunteers to share experiences, learn about new program ideas, and connect with other Scouters in their district. The purpose of a roundtable is to give each participant equal standing in a discussion, enabling them to contribute their perspectives and ideas freely and fully to the conversation.

Who attends?

• Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Venturing, and Varsity Scouting leaders (including unit committee members).
• District commissioners and their assistants.
• Local and regional experts on various Scouting topics. 
• Parents and Adult Volunteers 

How Roundtables are structured:

• Combined Opening:
  • All programs come together for a combined opening, often including a welcome, announcements, and a combined skit or ceremony. 
• Program-Specific Breakouts:
  • Leaders from different programs (Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, etc.) may then separate into breakouts focused on their specific program needs. 
• Interest Topics:
  • Roundtables often feature specific interest topics, such as conflict resolution, campout planning, or specific program features. 
• Q&A and Discussion:
  • There's usually time for a question-and-answer session or open forum for leaders to share ideas and best practices. 
• Closing:
  • The meeting concludes with a closing ceremony, announcements, and a "cracker barrel" time for fellowship and networking.
