4. Parent Orientation

The most important of the 4 steps is the "Join Night". Your Pack’s Join Night should be mid to late September and do your best to have it at the school(s) that you recruit from. For units that recruit from multiple schools, a night at each school has shown best results. Also have a fun event that attracts prospective cubs to come out and enjoy the experience. Games, crafts, magicians, facepainting, and snakes have done a great job of attracting new Cubs! Some packs have this fun activity open to their existing cubs to welcome them back to a new year as well.
