SCOUT NIGHT AT WV BLACK BEARS BASEBALL GAME!

Join us for an unforgettable evening of baseball and adventure! Watch the WV Black Bears take on the Mahoning Valley Scrappers in an exciting match-up and enjoy an evening camping under the stars right on the field!

WHO: All Scouts and their Families

• Attend just the game with Scout friends and family OR
• After the final inning, the adventure continues! Scouts will have the exclusive opportunity to camp out under the stars right on the field!     

WHEN:  July 10, 2026

• Gates Open: 6 PM
• Game Time: 7 PM    

WHERE:  Kendrick Family Ballpark and Monongalia County Baseball Complex

ITINERARY

• Friday, July 10
  • 6:00 PM – Gates open – Any food and drink vouchers, Scout patches, and campout wristbands will be distributed at a table near the Bears Den team store
  • 1-hour post-game– Movie (title TBD) will begin – snacks and drinks will be provided and brought down to the field
• Saturday, July 11
  • 7:30 AM – Donuts/pastries and juice and coffee will be brought down to the field for wakeup call
  • 8:30 AM – Campers must clear the field for WVU practice  

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

• Digital tickets will be available on your phone/mobile device; will call tickets will be available at the box office at Gate A (WVU Gate across from Burke & Herbert Bank) until the end of the fifth inning.
• All campout participants must have a wristband to access the field level. To obtain the field-level wristband, participants/guardians must sign a waiver. Digital copies will be sent to campers prior to the event, but hard copies will be available that day.
• If you need Handicap Seating, please call Layla Adinolfi at 304-293-8423 
• Two (2) WVBB staff members will be on site for the duration of the event (overnight).
• Entry for the campout will be the outfield wall gate under the video board, beside Gate A. Parking in that area (ADA lot) is on a first come, first served basis. Once the lot is full, people can unload their supplies there before parking in the main lot near Gate C.
• A two-way radio will be provided to a designated Scout leader to communicate lights out as well as any instructions in the unlikely event of an emergency.
• Restrooms and the water fountain in the concourse will be available.
• The external ballpark gates will be closed and locked for the evening.
• Tents MAY NOT be staked into the ground.
