The STEM Committee runs two STEM Weekends each year and oversees several awards, including the Council STEM Awards program, and supports STEM activities throughout the council.  In March, the committee hosts STEMboree, a Cub Scout STEM event with a camping option at Smilin V Scout Ranch. In September, the committee hosts STEM Adventure Weekend, a Scouts BSA STEM event at Lost Pines Scout Reservation. Please see https://www.bsacac.org/activities/stem/ for more information. 

The STEM Committee is always open to new members. Please reach out if you have questions or would like to volunteer. Volunteer positions can include anything from helping at one of the STEM Weekend events (registration, instruction, or logistics) to monthly STEM committee meetings and helping with event preparation, awards, and supporting other STEM activities. If you are interested in working with the committee, please use the contact form at the bottom of https://www.bsacac.org/activities/stem/ or email the staff advisor. 

Committee meetings will be online via Zoom except for the March, June, and September meetings, which will be in person at the Frank Fickett Center.
