SCOUTING FOR FOOD, is a major community service project organized between Units and the Council. For the two weekends in November Hawk Mountain Council participates in this service to our local food banks we are the second largest food bank in all of Berks County. Hawk Mountain Council is a proud supporter of the effort to help those in need in our communities.

Hawk Mountain Council has been participating in Scouting For Food in support of Helping Harvest (previously Greater Berks Food Bank) every year since 1987.

On Saturday, November 9th, Scouts will return to collect the donated non-perishable food items left outside and take them to a convenient drop-off location within their local communities.
