Description:
District Committee Meeting (6:00 PM - 7:00 PM):
The District Committee Meeting is a crucial gathering for all district-level volunteers and leaders. This meeting serves as the engine room of our Scouting district, where strategic decisions are made and initiatives are planned. Topics of discussion will include upcoming district events, membership growth strategies, fundraising efforts, training opportunities, and support for local units. Each subcommittee—such as Membership, Program, Finance, and Advancement—will provide updates, and there will be time allocated for open discussion to address any challenges or new ideas. This is your opportunity to help shape the direction of Scouting in our district and ensure that our programs continue to thrive.
District Roundtable (7:00 PM - 8:00 PM):
Immediately following the committee meeting, the District Roundtable offers a more informal and interactive session designed for all Scouting leaders, whether you are a seasoned Scoutmaster, a new Den Leader, or a Committee Chair. The Roundtable provides a valuable platform for sharing information, exchanging ideas, and learning best practices from your peers. Each month, the Roundtable features a specific theme or topic relevant to the Scouting year, such as outdoor activities, unit management, or youth leadership development. Participants will have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions tailored to their specific roles, where they can dive deeper into topics that matter most to them. The Roundtable is an excellent resource for staying connected with the broader Scouting community and gaining insights to enhance your own unit's program.
Social Hour (8:00 PM - 9:00 PM):
After the Roundtable, we invite all attendees to stay for a Social Hour, where you can enjoy light refreshments and continue the conversations in a relaxed, informal environment. This is a great chance to network with other leaders, exchange stories, and build relationships that can benefit your Scouting efforts. Whether you're looking to collaborate on future events or simply want to unwind after a productive evening, the Social Hour is the perfect way to end the night.
We look forward to your participation in this important event!
