D5 Cub Scout Leader Position-Specific Training Part 1

Make your Cub Scout Leader job easier and more fun! 

An enthusiastic, trained leader can make all the difference between a Den or Pack that is struggling and one that thrives. Find out how to use the resources available to you as a leader to excel in your position! 

Cub Scout leader training is in two parts, both of which will be offered twice (with participants needing to complete both parts to be fully trained).

The first part (modules 1 and 3 from the CSLPST syllabus) will be offered Oct. 24th and Nov. 7th, and Part 2 (module 2 from the CSLPST syllabus, covering all three sections in a single training) will be offered Nov. 7th and Dec. 5th.

Part 1: Oct. 24th and Nov 7th (9a – 12p)

Part 2: Nov 7th (1:30 – 4:30) and Dec 5th (9a-12p)

Location: Center for Scouting

Leader teamwork to make the Pack GO
Your position description and responsibilities
Parts of your specific meeting 
Available resources to help you be successful 
Preparation and planning with Cub Scout program materials 
Getting families involved 
Your role in Cub Scout advancement
