Unit Commissioners are district and council leaders who help Scout units succeed. They coach and consult with adult leaders of Cub Scout packs, Scout BSA troops, and Venturing crews. Unit Commissioners help maintain the standards of the Boy Scouts of America.

The Council Commissioner Meeting is open to all Commissioners (Asst. District, Unit, Roundtable, and Roundtable Staff). The meetings consist of Continuous Education and National and Council updates.
