The Twin Rivers Council Committee on Scouting with Special Needs and Disabilities meets monthly on the 1st Thursday from 7-8 pm.

 Our Vision: An inclusive community of Scouts and Scouters that embraces and leverages the inherent talents and abilities of everyone, so everyone experiences the opportunities and values of Scouting America.

Our Mission: 

Our mission is the same as Scouting America's mission, with a focus on those Scouting Community members who special needs and disabilities.

To foster respect, dignity, and understanding for all Scouting community members such that they are not solely defined by their disability, but by their entire identity, values, talents, dreams, and experiences.

To advocate for Scouts with special needs and disabilities by fostering inclusivity, belonging, and opportunity.

To train, equip, and guide Scouters, units, and families to support and empower those Scouts with special needs and disabilities to reach their greatest potential.
