TRC and the USS Slater are excited to announce a program for Scouts, BSA to work on the American Heritage merit badge.  Scouts should dress for the weather and must wear closed-toe shoes.  Prior to the event, scouts should complete the assigned homework using this sheet (http://usscouts.org/mb/worksheets/american-heritage.pdf) of Requirements: 3a, 3b, 3c and 6.  Also, the scouts should prepare questions to interview visiting politicians, community leaders, veterans and museum staff who will speak with the scouts.  The homework is to be submitted prior to the event here: https://docs.google.com/forms/ by May 28th. 

For scouts to complete the merit badge, please have their troop leader connect the scout to Michelle Napierski-Prancl via Scoutbook.  If the scout's troop does not use scoutbook, the scout will need to bring a unit leader signed blue card to the event.

2. then click the "book your scouting ticket" blue button since that 2nd button is how scouts pay for the event and lock in their registration
